CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
CHILDREN'S WORSHIP
Children's Worhip at BCC takes place the second half of the 8:30 am and 11:00 am worship services. Children are dismissed after the pastoral prayer to enjoy their own version of worship, Bible teaching, and fellowship. We use a variety of media, including media clips with high energy music, engaging ad interactive object lesson Bible stories, and creative crafts and games. The children start their time as one large group, and then split into two age-appropriate settings. Beginner Junior Church is for potty trained 3 year olds through Kindergarten and Junior Church is for 1-5 grade.
NURSERY
BCC provides nursery facilities during each of our worship services for newborns to 3 years of age. Exiting the sanctuary, the nursery is located to the right of the cafe area.
The nursery is equipped with moniters so parents can still watch the live service in the sanctuary while their young one is entertained with a variety of stimulating toys.
PARENT & BABY DEDICATION SUNDAY
This takes place in July. The Sunday worship is led by children. A sermon filled with guidance and encouragement for the family is followed by the dedication to the Lord of newborns to 2 years olds. Each baby receives a "First Bible" from the church.
CLUB P3 and CLUB P3+
Club P3 was formed to allow the children time for laughter, community, learning and being able to just play together! Each time they meet, they focus on 3 P's for that hour. Praise / Play / Prayer / Pizza / Playgrounds / Parks / Pools / Picnics / Pajama Party / Paint Party / Popcorn / Pumpkins / Popsicles / Pasta - the list goes on! For all children in grades K-5. Currently, this group is meeting on Sunday mornings from 10-11 am, during the Sunday School hour.
An extension of Club P3, Club P3+ [formerly Joyful Notes], follows Club P3 during Easter and Christmas seasons. This high energy song and game time is non-stop fun for the kids as they engage in aerobic style song time and practices as they produce a full-scale Christmas musical drama, and participate in the King of Kings Easter drama each year.
KING'S KIDS & POWER UP
King's Kids is an after-school ministry for our elementary school age students. For over 30 years, the purpose of this ministry has been to allow our children to learn about God, the Bible and Christian fellowship in a Christian environment. We accomplish this through creative activities such as science experiments, crafts, art, recreation, singing and more. Transportation is provided from Liberty-Curtin Elementary School.
In the Fall session, kids K-4th grade meet for seven weeks and end the term with our famous carnival and program.
In addition, we offer a King's Kids Camp, an action packed week of summer fun for the community elementary-age children! Activities include games, crafts, and Bible-related learning as well as our giant waterslides for a very memorable week!

FIFTH GRADE EVENTS & FUSION
WINTERFEST - Escape Room Nativity Style - This is a special winter event designed just for fifth graders.
SPRINGFEST - Another evening of fun, games and adventures for the fifth graders!
FUSION - Led by our youth minister, Becca, Fusion is an opportunity for the fifth graders to transition into youth group seamlessly. It is for both 5th and 6th grade students, and is held weekly for one month in the Spring. We come together for an hour and dig deeper into biblical characters and parables, learning how to do more critical thinking about biblical concepts. It is awesome to see new friendships formed between the 5th and 6th grade students and it gives our incoming 5th graders an already set friend group as they walk into youth group! And there are donuts. Lots of donuts!
