IN GOD'S HANDS DAYCARE

In God’s Hands is BCC’s daycare, open and operating daily, Monday through Friday from 6 am to 6 pm.  The daycare center, located at 185 Beach Street, Blanchard, PA, is adjacent to the church, and offers a Christian based curriculum and learning environment.  We also offer before and after school care as well and a summer program for school aged children. If you are interested in enrolling your child, please contact Daycare Director, Carol Blackwell, at the daycare at 570-962-0025 or bccighdaycare@outlook.com for more information. 

INFANTS (6 WEEKS TO 13 MONTHS)

Your baby's happiness and comfort are our first priority as we provide a safe and loving home-like environment.  We talk, sing, and read to your baby to encourage vocabulary development.  There is plenty of cuddle-time and babies are given plenty of individualized attention.  Parents are kept up to date with a daily sheet that reports feeding times/amounts, diaper changes, nap times, and activities that occurred each day.

TODDLERS (13 TO 17 MONTHS)

Toddlers are introduced to a daily routine, eating, sleeping, and playing at the same time as their peers.  They learn Bible stories and songs, colors, numbers, shapes and letters.  The children are encouraged to play cooperatively with others and are continuously praised for appropriate behavior.  Students are given daily opportunities to explore and learn through age-appropriate toys and projects.

PRE-SCHOOL (OVER 37 MONTHS)

In God's Hands provides a preschool program for children ages 3-5 each morning from 9 to noon.  The children follow a faith-based program that gets them ready for Kindergarten.  The children learn independence and social interaction with others.

SCHOOL-AGE PROGRAM

During the school year, we offer before and after school care, with students taken by bus to school in the morning.  After school, the children are given a snack and will have the opportunity for free play, planned activities, doing homework, etc.

When school is closed for in service days, inclement weather, or holidays, or there is a delay or early dismissal, children may attend the daycare for an additional cost.

During summer vacation, we offer a full day summer camp for school age children.  The summer camp includes special activities and field trips.  Group activity time includes arts and crafts, games, picnics, gardening, and much more!
