Lord, please have your hand of lordship on the lives of all who are connected to the BCC.  Let no weapon formed against them to prosper; protect them by your hand.  Lead them to you by your Spirit.

   Be with the non-believer who seeks to know you.  Give them eyes to see your love and calling and use me to point them to you.

   Help believers surrender in obedience to your Word in every area of their lives. 

   Care for those tempted by sin.  Give them courage to take your way out.  For those in sin, convict them that they might repent and know the beauty of forgiveness and holiness, without judgment.

   Please protect me and the congregation from sin, Satan, discouragement or heresy.

   Bind us all together in unity of the Holy Spirit, and may we encourage each other.

   Please bless our senior saints, shut-ins, widows and widowers.  Grant them your comfort and joy.  Show us how to minister to them, and how they can minister to our church as we together seek to advance the Kingdom of God in our world. 

   Bless the young people of our church with the joy of coming close to you at a young age.  Grow them in wisdom, stature, and favor with you and favor with people.  Protect them from emotional, sexual, spiritual, or intellectual harm.  Guide their relationships in Godliness.

   Lord, bless the single people of the church.  Let all rejoice regardless of their relational status.  Allow them the beauty of knowing you as their everything.  For those who are called to celibacy, give them perseverance.  For those who seek a mate, give them an equal yoke.  In all things, let godliness prevail in their lives.

   Lord, bless those who are married to live out the holy covenant of marriage.  Show them marital holiness.  Give husbands and wives the courage to submit to each other in reverence of Christ.  Where there is hurt, bring repentance, forgiveness and restoration.  Where there is joy, let it abound.  Where there is confusion, give clarity.  Where there are decisions, guide them.

Lord God, Almighty and Everlasting Father, preserve us with your mighty power, that we may not fall into sin, nor be overcome by adversity; and in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
