Staff

Russel Moldovan has been the senior pastor at Blanchard Church of Christ since November of 1993. He, along with his wife Raylene, have enjoyed raising their four children in the church. He feels blessed to have watched the church grow and adapt to ministry within our community and beyond. His energetic passion and focus is to proclaim Christ and teach the scriptures to anyone and everyone. He graduated from Emmanuel Christian Seminary with a Masters of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry.

After growing up locally, graduating from Susquehanna University, and working at church camp for 3 summers, Becca traveled around the country for a year on a music and relational ministry team. She has been serving as our full-time youth minister since 2015. In addition to the youth ministry, she has taken an active role in the worship and drama ministries, developing Pulse young adults group, organizing BCC events, paint nights and dinners, and helping people find their God-given creativity. Becca lives with her husband, Andrew, and daughter, Grace, in Blanchard, PA.

Todd has been attending BCC since 2010. He serves on the church board as a deacon and is involved in various ministries including the daycare committee. In 2021, he joined the church staff as the Church Administrator handling the church's operations. On any given Sunday, you might find Todd in the tech booth running the church's live stream ministry. Todd and his wife, Abbie, live in Howard with their two daughters, Isabella and Madelyn. Todd enjoys working on projects around the house and spending time with family.

Raylene Moldovan is the wife of senior pastor, Russel Moldovan. Together, they have four grown children and one grandson. Although she is an RN by degree, Raylene's passion has always been children, and she has worked as the co-director of Children's Ministries for more than 15 years. In addition to serving the children of the church, she is the lead teacher of the Pre-K class at the Kid Kingdom preschool. She believes there is nothing more fulfilling than introducing a child to Jesus and His unconditional love.

In 1971 Pat came to BCC from Massachusetts after marrying Lew Peters. She was immediately asked if she would be interested in serving as organist. She said yes, and has been doing so ever since. Pat also plays piano and keyboard and has led the church orchestra. She and Lew have served in several areas of ministry, including Food Pantry, Sunday School teachers, Elder, and the drama ministry. They have two children, Amy and Suzi, who grew up in the church and are now active in their own congregations.

Carol has been blessed to have grown up in the BCC. She married her husband, Larry, in 1992 in the old sanctuary. They have 3 children, Michaela, Morgan and Brayden. She started her employment at the church in 2004, serving as one of our Children's Ministers and taught preschool. She began this career because she knows how important a strong offering of quality children's programs are to the future success of the church. Carol is currently the Daycare Director at In God's Hands Daycare, a ministry of the Blanchard Church of Christ.

Polly was born and raised in Monument. PA, and still lives there today with her husband and two daughters. She started coming to BCC in 2021 because her oldest daughter was attending youth group, and she decided if she wanted her children to have a relationship with God, she needed to bring them to a church that had programs for them. Little did she know she needed to rebuild her relationship with God just as much as they needed to start one. She now holds membership in the BCC and is very active in small group Bible Studies and other ministries within the church.
